welcome to bianci, my absolute heart project that, long story short, has taken me years to bring into fruition!

i started and owned a small embroidery business for three years specializing in custom embroidered pet portraits. i found my passion for embroidery & sewing, but i was devastated to see how wasteful that business can be. buying new blanks (tees, sweatshirts, etc) to anticipate my customers needs constantly left me with excess garments - i had the sad realization that i was contributing to fast fashion & overconsumption. i felt like a hypocrite given my passion for the natural world. but, i still loved designing animal embroideries and wanted to lean into my wackiness. 

late 2023, instead of finding somewhere to donate these excess garments, i decided to fully transform and shift my creative brand & processes to reflect my passion for sustainability, wacky n funky doodles, and animals. i never would have anticipated the love my pieces have gotten so far, but i am so glad it found people that can appreciate adding whimsy to their closet 🌟

all of my pieces are sourced secondhand prior to designing on them, and the scraps used to make each design are made from textiles also sourced from thrift stores!
